During the week of Coral Reefs we took the opportunity to offer a talk on the beach dedicated to the sand. We thank Professor Maritza Barreto for her constant and outstanding commitment to the Isla Verde Reef.
WE LEARNED A LOT!
Six years since the Marine Reserve was designated. An exquisite experience! Lots of work to do.
Our thanks to the biologist Jorge Gutiérrez and Cristina Ramírez from the San Juan Bay Estuary Program for contributing their knowledge in the activity.
Talk to biology students at the UPR Bayamón Campus about the Marine Reserve and the needs we have for volunteers to continue the water quality monitoring program.
